Hot on the heals of Trey Grayson accusing Rand Paul of being the establishment candidate,
Karl Rove writes the following op-ed referencing the Kentucky Race.Republicans have also recruited good candidates for their open seats. New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly Ayotte is competitive, as are Ohio's Rob Portman and Missouri's Roy Blunt. Republicans in Florida have to get through a primary fight, but either Gov. Charlie Crist or former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio will likely hold the seat. (I've donated to Messrs. Blunt and Rubio.) Only Kentucky's open seat vacated by Jim Bunning causes the GOP squeamishness.
Of course, what he really means is it causes the power brokers in the upper echelons of the Republican Party hierarchy squeamishness. The reason for this is because Rand Paul wants to 'depower' Washington (Or Downsize DC.) and return that power to the individual where it belongs. If I were a power brokers, in either party, I'd be squeamish too.
What I find hilarious is, how do you be the establishment candidate -- when "MR Establishment" himself comes out targeting you? I think this is just more proof that Trey Grayson is simply a useful cog in the Republican Party machine. And the establishment, because of that, would prefer Grayson to a principled, honest individualist like Rand Paul who thinks for himself and isn't afraid to shake things up.

Don’t know for sure what Rove is talking about, but if it is Rand Paul’s strong support for reform through term limits, reducing the size and scope of government, and his solid, consistent opposition to Republicans caving in on bailouts and stimulus spending that is causing some Washington D.C. tummy aches, then that’s good.
Rand is leading in the polls in Kentucky because Kentuckians can’t stomach the nonsense from our professional politicians anymore.
I think that's about right. Rank and file Republicans who care about principles are sick of being lied to by the McCains and other big government liberals who have hijacked the party. They want to take the party back. And Rand Paul has the credibility to do just that.

ReplyDeleteThe only way to rid Washington of the incestuous corruption is to vote OUT all incumbents and replace with non-politician challengers. The reason our US Constitution and Bill of Rights worked in the beginning and for decades is that people in legislative, executive, and judicial branches were men of honor and largely Christian ethics. In my opinion Dr. Ben Carson would make a great no-nonsense President. So for VP he'd need a Washington political generalist who I think would actually serve our country, like former Ambassador Bolton. The Federal Reserve is the largest Banking-Government scam in the history of mankind! It's created the "petrodollar" and when Iraq was going to the Euro for buy/sell oil, people in Washington were dumping bricks... use your imagination! So as an outgrowth of Operation Northwoods, some group, sometimes to as the Illuminati, planned and successfully executed 9/11/2001. So Bush was then able to garner American and Ally support for a, first time in USA history, execute a preemptive strike and murder of a sovereign country and its dictator leader. So baby boy Bush could say to daddy Bush, "I got him, daddy!" As a Viet Nam vet, I was totally embarrassed that the country I love would do such a disgusting thing! Let's just hope and pray that Jeb doesn't "run and get placed in the Oval office" by the Illuminati. That is if Obama doesn't declare marshal law, invoke the National Defense Authorization Act provisions to remain in office and begin extreme world terror trying to establish a New World Order. He stated the need for this after 9/11/2012 in a speech to the UN and Hillary said New Global Order in her speech. Guess what? 'Pope Francis has a background with The Jesuits, who have a historical connection with other secretive, evil cults. That said, Pope Francis has call for a One World Government & One World Church. This is lining up as a huge event coming to our world, where lots of people will die and lots of people will wish they were dead. Google "St. Malachy Last Pope Prophecy" where 112 Popes have been amazingly accurate to the Last Pope...Pope Francis.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to help our country, America the Beautiful, and the world from some upcoming evil collaboration many times worse that 9/11/01. I firmly believe Hitler was the first attempt by the Illuminati to create a New World Order. But the Illuminati fail to predict or understand the strength and fighting spirit of the American Citizens, who worked as one, to defeat Germany in our east and a planned western attack by Japan. WeThePeople were united nd kick some serious ass on 2 fronts that were designed to destroy us. So the Illuminati dropped by 10 and punted into the next century after realizing they must divide the Americans moral spirit, create a large unsustainable government that would make millions or Americans depend on it just to survive at a poverty. Obama, the Illuminati puppet, has been quite good at executing the Illuminati plans and mandates.
Therefore, we must oust by vote as many incumbents as possible with every election, and put into office ordinary Americans with honor. It will require a huge coordinated task by grassroots to get my message out and convince legal voters to vote the ousting by such a huge margin that the Illuminati can manipulate an election like the one that literally placed Bush in the White House... unbelievable.
